Whispers are in the wind that the new Woodpecker Wooliams / OCDC film-score cassette ‘Anni OST’ is readying itself for release with Chicago’s Love Lion label. I’m really proud of it; hearing it at the film premier in an old Hamburg theater last Autumn was a totally inspiring experience and it will be great to share, especially over the Pond!

I went down to the Westhil Hall on Saturday to get a dose of the legendary Vitamin B12s and other experimental / noise musicians from Brighton’s vault. Possible surprise highlight was one half of the Bohman Brothers- spoken word ‘pieces’ (?) interspersed with soundscapes made from mic-ed up 7-Up cans, forks, cheesgraters and other kitchenware…

bottled about 40 jars of honey (from The Queen of Hearts hive)
made 7 jars of black truffle-infused honey
made a gallon of slightly spiced mead (to join the currently fermenting gallon of blackberry wine and 4 bottles of sloe gin)
made 8 jars of back ‘n’ green allotment tomato chutney
made about 12 (it’s bubbling in the pan right now!)...
